Mini-curriculum

He holds a degree in Agronomy Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (1981), a Masters in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) from the University of São Paulo (1986) and a PhD in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) from the University of São Paulo 1995). He is currently a researcher at the Center for Agroforestry Research in Eastern Amazonia. He has experience in the area of ​​Agronomy, with emphasis on Plant Breeding, working mainly on the following topics: amazon, fruit species, fruit species, euterpe oleracea and quantitative genetics. Nowadays, in collaboration with other specialists, it has been developing studies with the approach of local productive arrangements (APL), aiming at socioeconomic studies in support of the production and professionalization of açaí agribusiness, in great expansion in regional, national and international level.
