Agronomist by the State University of Londrina - UEL, Brazil (1979-1983). Master in Agronomy / Genetics and Plant Breeding at the Higher Schooll of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiróz" - ESALQ at the State University of São Paulo - USP, Brazil (1984-1988). PhD in Agronomy / Plant Production / Phytotechnics by the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineers - ETSIA at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid - UPM, Spain (1996-2000). Researcher / Soy Vegetable Improvement in the Organization of the Cooperatives of the State of Paraná - OCEPAR (1985-1989) and Researcher / Phytotechnics and Management of the Sunflower Culture of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - EMBRAPA (1989-present), located in the decentralized unit Embrapa Soy (former National Center for Soy Research). He has professional experience in the areas of Genetics and Breeding and Soy Phytotechnics (Glycine max L. Merrill) and Sunflower (Helianthus annus L.). He currently works in the area of Soy Crop Management / Losses in the Soy Harvest, in the following lines of action: a) research, development and innovation in methodologies for quantifying grain losses in the soybean harvest, using Precision Agriculture tools; b) transfer of technology and production of the Embrapa Measuring Cup - preparation of all components of its respective "Loss Kit" (volumetric container, technical manual, data collection frame and pins); c) research, development and innovation in the automation of an impact trail system for the processing of soybeans and other small shrub species.
