Agronomist (University of Viçosa - 1988), Master on Plant Pathology (University of Lavras -1990) and Ph.D. on Plant Pathology (University of São Paulo / ESALq - 2001). Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa). From 2003 to 2006 Deputy Head of R&D at Embrapa Soybean. From May 2009 to August 2015, General Head of Embrapa Agrossilvipastoral, being one of those responsible for the implementation of the research center, involving the infrastructure of the experimental fields and laboratories. Post-Doc at UMR Innovation From September 2016 to September 2017, in Montpellier, France. From August 2018, General Head of Embrapa Food and Territories.
