Mini-curriculum

I hold a degree in Cartographic Engineering from the Military Engineering Institute (1984), a master's degree from the Military Engineering Institute (1995), a PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2002) and a postdoc in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Beltsville Maryland at the Simulation Laboratory for Plant Growth and Climate Change (2010-2011). He is currently a second grade technical professor at the Celso Suckov Federal Center of Technological Education of Fonseca and Researcher of the National Center for Soil Research in Rio de Janeiro. I have experience in the area of geodesy, cartography and geomatics, with emphasis in Exact and Earth Sciences, working mainly in the following subjects: automated cartography, landscape dynamics, remote sensing, agroecological zoning, spatial database, temporal space variation, Landscape Ecology and programming of computers applied to earth sciences.
