Mini-curriculum

Graduated in Teacher Education (Degree in Physics) from the Salgado de Oliveira University (2005), graduated in Agronomy from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1998), master's degree in Plant Production from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2001) and PhD in Plant Production from the State University of Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2006). He is currently Researcher A at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa Maize and Sorghum and collaborates with UNEMAT as a professor in the Graduate Program in Genetics and Plant Improvement. He has experience in the area of Agronomy, with emphasis on Plant Genetic Improvement of maize, sorghum and millet. In 2021, he took over the leadership of Embrapa's millet genetic improvement program at the national level by Embrapa Maize and Sorghum and assists in the preservation and valuation of millet germplasm of the BAG of Millet of Embrapa Maize and Sorghum.
