PhD in Food Science and Technology (UFV - 2007), Master in Food Science and Technology (UFRRJ - 1996), Food Engineer (UFSC - 1986). Since 2008 I work as a researcher at Embrapa Tropical agroindustry, in research projects related to functional foods, preservation processes, unit operations, processing of fruits and others. Earlier in SENAI / RJ - Food and Beverage Technology Center (1988-2008), as Technology Services Coordinator with experience in product development, consulting and training in the Food Technology area, with an emphasis on Technology of Meat Products , food safety (GMP and HACCP), heat treatment and sterilization. Also a professor in the course of the University of Industrial Chemistry Severino Sombra, from 1998 to 2008.
