Mini-curriculum


Graduated in Food Engineering from the State University of Campinas (1990), a Master's degree in Food Engineering (1996), a PhD (2003) in Food Science from the same university and a postdoctoral degree in Food Safety Control (2011) from the London South Bank University (LSBU) in London, UK. She worked as an engineer for the development of biotechnological processes at CODETEC (Company of Technological Development) between 1990 and 1993. In 2008, she began her academic career as an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) in the Food Engineering course and, in 2009 was part of the research team at the Embrapa Vegetables Center. Works at the Food Science and Technology Laboratory (LCTA) with emphasis on vegetables, working mainly on the following topics: Food safety; characterization and identification of functional compounds in plants; dehydration, canning and fermentation processes; development of new products with functional properties; microbiological control in vegetables; elaboration of technical regulations for integrated production (IP) with MAPA (Ministry of agriculture).
