Mini-curriculum

Graduation at Engenharia Florestal from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1996), master's at Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2001) and doctorate at Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2005). She did her postdoctoral studies at the Federal University of Viçosa and was awarded a PhD scholarship at the University of Passo Fundo through the PAPG project: PPGAgro/UPF-Fitotecnia/UFRGS. She was a researcher at Embrapa Trigo, where she worked on research involving plant tissue culture, transgenics and gene silencing, with a focus on studies of tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses. She was recently transferred to Embrapa Forestry and is resuming her career in forestry science, with the purpose of collaborating with the use of biotechnology and molecular biology techniques. Additionally, he has experience in the following topics: disease resistance, resistance genes, eucalyptus structural genomics using BACs and shotgun bacterial library clones, phytovirology and molecular identification of bacteria.
