Bachelor in Food Engineering at Federal University of Rio Grande (2005) and DSc. in Food Science at University of Campinas (2010). She is currently a researcher at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, working in the area of science and technology of oils and fats, participating in projects on fruits and oilseeds, olive oils, co-products utilization, analysis of bioactive compounds, biodiesel synthesis, toxic factors present in jatropha seed (phorbol esters). She has experience in Food Science and Technology, with emphasis on Food Chemistry and has worked mainly in the following areas: high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry, carotenoids, anthocyanins, antioxidant activity and liposomes.
