Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry by the Catholic University of Paraná (1999), Master of Science (Biochemistry) by the Federal University of Paraná (2002) and Ph.D. (2006) and post doctorate (2007) by the same institution. Has experience in Biochemistry / Chemistry of Macromolecules. Develops research on chemical characterization of polysaccharides, proteins and peptides with potential biological and technological aspects. Also evaluates the structural and functional behavior of macromolecules after simulation of human digestion. Currently, as the Researcher of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa, develops research on utilization of agro-industrial byproducts and waste for the genenration of new products rich in protein and fiber.
