Graduated in Agronomy (2003), specialist in Rice Seeds Production (2005) and M.Sc. in Plant Physiology (2005) by the Federal University of Pelotas; D.Sc. in Crop Production - Weed Science (2008) by the Federal University of Vicosa. International Agronomist at Valmont Industries (Omaha-NE, USA) from 2008 to 2010, developing researches with rice in several Countries. Researcher at EMBRAPA Western Agriculture in Dourados-MS (2010-2015), and at EMBRAPA Temperate Agriculture in Pelotas-RS (2016 - current), Brazil, at the area of Sustainable Cropping Systems. Permanent Professor at the Postgraduate Plant Physiology Department (M.Sc./D.Sc. degrees), Federal University of Pelotas (2017 - current).
