Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (1996), master's (2001) and doctorate (2007) in Immunology from the Federal University of Bahia. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Immunology, with emphasis on Molecular Biology. During his master's and doctorate, he worked on a project aimed at the development of vaccines and diagnostic tests, improving himself in the following techniques: cloning and expression of genes, production and preparation of recombinant proteins, immunization and evaluation of immune response. She is currently Researcher A at Embrapa Gado de Corte, in Campo Grande MS, where she works in the area of #8203;#8203;Animal Health - Immunology and Pathology with an emphasis on biotechnology. It has currently approved projects on the study of glanders - Burkholderia mallei (with MAPA) - a biosafety level 3 pathogen, and participates in other projects approved by CNPq (Edict Biopec/2022) on the topic of bovine cysticercosis. In these proposals, he makes use of recombinant DNA technology for the production of proteins. She has been president of the Internal Biosafety Commission since 2019, having served as executive secretary of that commission since 2012. She also serves on the Management Committee of Biopec/Embrapa Gado de Corte - multi-user laboratory for livestock biosafety and is vice president of the Strategic Committee of same lab.
