Mini-curriculum

Emiliano Costa is a research scientist at Embrapa since 2011, working mainly with coconut genetic breeding. He have the following degrees: BSc in Agronomy from the University of Montes Claros (2003), MBA in Project Management from ESALQ/USP (2021), MSc in Genetics and Plant Breeding from ESALQ / USP (2007) and PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the University of Lavras (2010). The main focus of his MSc and PhD studies were maize breeding and quantitative genetics. Also worked at Sakata Seed Sudamerica (2010) as Vegetable Breeder, where he was responsible for cucumber, winter squash and summer squash breeding sector.
