Mini-curriculum

Biologist from the Federal University of Uberlândia and Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto campus. He studies the biology of stingless bees and develops technologies for their large-scale farming and use in agricultural pollination. His research on bees aims to drive innovative businesses with positive impacts on society.He has been actively involved in spreading science-based knowledge about bees to both the general public and industry professionals. He also contributes to public policies aimed at reducing bureaucracy in meliponiculture, conserving pollinators, and promoting harmonious coexistence between agriculture and beekeeping activities.
