He carried out Post-Doc at the University of Sussex-UK, developing research on the subject of Innovation and Sustainability. In 1999 she completed her PhD. in Economics of Technology and Innovation from The University of Reading-UK. He holds a Master's (MSc.) in Business Administration from EAESP-FGV-1985 and a Bachelor's (BSc.) in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of João Pessoa-1979. He has specializations in General Business Policy from ESADE-Barcelona-Spain and in Marketing from UFSC . He was Administrative Head of different Embrapa branches in Paraíba and Ceará from 1975 to 1982 and from 1985 to 1995. He is currently a Researcher at Embrapa Agroindústria Tropical, coordinating and participating in research projects and working in the technology prospecting and evaluation sector, responsible for strategic intelligence activities and technological prospecting. He participated in evaluations of Postgraduate Programs in the Capes committee in the area of Management, Accounting and Tourism and also in the Committee and selection committee for the award for the best Doctoral Thesis. He is Ad hoc Consultant in the evaluation of projects submitted to CNPQ and Fundo Mackpesquisa. It maintained and maintains international partnerships with Professors/Researchers from the Technical Universities of Munich and Deggendorf in Germany, the University of Coimbra in Portugal, the University of Reading (UK) and the Spanish Council for Scienti#64257;c Research (CSIC). He has published 41 articles in specialized journals and 187 papers in annals of events. He has 8 book chapters and 1 book published. He participated in the development of technological products, events abroad and in Brazil. He has supervised doctoral theses, supervised and co-supervised master's dissertations, in addition to having supervised work in specialization courses, completion of undergraduate courses and scientific initiation in the areas of Administration, Economics and Tourism. He participated in doctoral, master's, specialization and undergraduate committees. He has received 11 awards and/or honors. He currently coordinates a research project and is responsible for two subprojects. He works in the areas of Management and Economics, with an emphasis on Innovation Studies, Strategic Intelligence, Technological Foresight and Economics of Technology. In his professional activities he interacted with 75 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific papers. He is an associate co-editor, member of the editorial board and/or reviewer of national and international journals qualified by CAPES, such as BAR and REGE and of the Associations ACADEMY OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS - AIB, EUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ACADEMY - EIBA, ANPAD, SOBER, ALTEC, IBEROAMERICAN ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT, ABEPRO and IAMOT.
