Resumo: Abstract: Cultured meat is a promising technology that aims to satisfy the growing demand for animal protein without sacrificing animals, associated with food safety, disease-free and reduced environmental impact. In this study, the muscle cells obtained showed potential for producing cultured meat. Furthermore, analysis of the relative gene expression profiles of pluripotency genes in blastoderm cells, adult stem cells, and myoblasts revealed variations in the expression of cOCT4, cSOX3, cNANOG, cSALL4, cCLDN3, cKIT, and cLIN28A. Each cell type exhibited specific regulation patterns and distinct functions. Blastoderm cells indicated a highly undifferentiated state, adult stem cells reflected more restricted pluripotency, and myoblasts were consistent with their differentiated function. This research not only promotes technological innovation in food production but also offers a sustainable and ethical approach to meeting the growing global demand for animal protein.
