With an area of 224 m2, it has a Hamilton pipetting robot, real-time PCR system, Spectramax M3 microplate reader, binocular and trinocular microscopes, fluorescence stereomicroscope, FE-SEM Zeiss Sigma HV field emission scanning electron microscope (Gemini column) with transmission module and EDS, critical point apparatus for sample dehydration, metallizer, vacuum concentrator, anaerobic scientific chamber, NanoDrop DNA/RNA analyzer, fermentation reactor, biobalistics system for GMO detection, cytometer, soil shaker, ultrafreezers, 5 B. O.D. CHAMBERS, 8 laminar flow hoods, 6 thermal cyclers, 13 centrifuges, 9 complete electrophoresis systems and 2 photodocumentation systems, refractometers, spectrophotometers, shakers and greenhouses.
