Context
Waste of a co-product generated by green coconut water processing, which, in spite of having recognized nutritional, economic and commercial value, is usually discarded or underused by processing industries.
About the asset
Creamy sweet made of green coconut pulp, fruit and sugar. It can have four flavors, depending on the tropical fruit used in the recipe: pineapple, papaya, mango or hog plum.

Characteristics in comparison with competitors available in the market
Simple technology that uses equipment and inputs that are generally available in markets and that can be easily adopted by smallholders. Product with less sugar and less fat when compared to similar traditional versions.
Impacts for the production sector and for society
For the production sector, the impact will be mainly economic, as it will be caused by adding value to a co-product that is usually discarded by green coconut water industries. As for consumers, they will be offered a product without conservatives, with lower sugar content, and lower caloric value compared to traditional sweets.
