Context
The extruded products (snacks) available on the market are widely consumed mostly by children and young adults, and are convenience foods with little, if any, nutritional value.
About the asset
Snack puffs with aerated and crunchy texture, obtained through the thermoplastic extrusion of mixes of wholegrain parboiled brown rice, millet, chickpea and pinto bean flours. The puffs are seasoned with salt, garlic, onion, parsley, turmeric and chilli flakes. Their main application is as a convenience food for immediate consumption.
