Context
While domestic sorghum production in Brazil is high (2.5 million tons in the 2019 crop year), it is still underconsumed in human diets despite its high nutritional potential, which helps to achieve the recommended daily fiber intake and allows for an interesting amount of bioactive compounds.
About the asset
Gluten-free wholegrain sorghum-based breakfast cereal, which is produced through thermoplastic extrusion, with an increase in fiber content, added phenolic compounds and good sensory acceptance. The slightly sweetened product can be consumed with or without a beverage of preference.

Characteristics in comparison with competitors available in the market
