The country's first andrological examination app. Under development since 2022, the new tool has the potential to improve beef cattle farming in Brazil, as it helps veterinarians select cattle breeders with better genetic performance. This app contains a set of organized and standardized information that helps veterinarians perform clinical, physical, and morphological examinations. In addition, this data speeds up the issuance of reports and the final diagnosis for owners, based on the following criteria: fit, fit for natural mating, temporarily unfit, or unfit. Additionally, we expect to collect andrological databases from various regions of the country, so that we can evaluate breed, age, seminal pattern, number of animals evaluated per region, among others. This will facilitate the standardization of andrological examinations and the preparation of reports that will be delivered to producers, saving time for field professionals. It is worth noting that the application was developed for cattle, but can be adapted to other species, which makes it a unique contribution to the national livestock industry. Built by teams from Embrapa Pantanal (MS) and Embrapa Gado de Corte (MS), the platform is free and can be used on mobile devices and computers, throughout the country.
