Focusing on localized agrifood systems as a strategy for sustainable rural development at the Inhamuns Backcountry

This project aims at promoting the identification, recognition and added value to Inhamuns backcountry, in Ceará state, as a space for innovation in the production of small ruminants, with a focus on localized agrifood systems, based on the identification of economic, social, environmental and cultural elements of that territory. The expectation is to build knowledge about the management of animal agrobiodiversity, redesign of agroecosystems, and promote quality in the traditional food production process of the Inhamuns backcountry, aiming at recognition and added value.
