Integra SP: training of technicians in ILPF systems in the State of São Paulo

Crop-livestock-forest integrated systems (CLFi) are characterized as a sustainable production strategy that integrates agricultural, livestock, and forestry activities carried out in the same area, in intercropped cultivation, succession, or rotation, and which seeks synergistic effects between the components of the agroecosystem. This project proposes to increase knowledge among researchers, technicians, and producers involved with CLFi, stimulating and expanding the training of public technical consultants. To this end, it seeks to identify innovative producers regionally for transferring CLFi technology, defining a set of educational actions in the form of an integrated knowledge update program in CLFi in a mixed modality (distance and face-to-face education). The ILPF/SP project results from technical cooperation between the Department of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo (SAA/SP) and the ILPF Network, of which Embrapa is a technical-scientific member.
