The InNat Guide is a free app designed for mobile devices with touch screens, such as tablets and smartphones. It uses the Android operating system (OS) and works offline, with images and information on the physical characteristics and the performance of natural pest control agents (predators and parasitoids). The purpose of the app is to assist farmers and technicians so that they can identify, amidst the fauna present in agricultural crops, arthropods - usually insects - that act as natural pest control, so that they can keep them in the production system, benefiting from the biological control alone or in conjunction with other methods. Biological control provides a reduction in the occurrence of pests and a reduction in dependence on external inputs, in addition to contributing to the absence of pesticide in agricultural products and the environment.
