GM (transgenic) cotton cultivar, with multipme resistance to diseases, especially ramularia leaf spot, considered the worst cotton disease in Brazil. It has the Bollgard II Roundup Ready Flex (B2RF) technology, which also grants resistance to the herbicide glyphosate and to the main caterpillar species that attack cotton crops. BRS 437 B2RF has high quality fiber and high yield – production potential of 6,015 kilos per hectare of seed cotton and 2,425 kilos per hectare of wool. It has a medium to late cycle and medium to high size. It is recommended for sowing at the start or the middle of the plantation, in upland or irrigated conditions, in the Cerrado areaas of the states of Bahia, Piauí, Goiás, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
