The CUSTOSUINO-MT project is the result of technical cooperation between Embrapa Swine and Poultry and the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea) to implement a system for monitoring pig production costs in Mato Grosso to subsidize private agents and the formulation of public policies for the supply chain. The project aimed to quantify carbon stocks and assess the impact of human activity on changes in carbon stocks in the Amazon Forest.
