The 2030 Agenda has been proposed by the United Nations (UN) to member countries in 2015, for the formulation and implementation of public policies to promote sustainable development.

The Agenda 2030 establishes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with 169 targets to be achieved by 2030, which are classified into Economic, Social and Environmental categories, as a list of tasks to be fulfilled by governments, private sector, and civil society in a collective path toward sustainable development, set on the pillars People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnerships.
