UNIT EMBRAPII

Embrapa Agroenergy was accredited as a Unit of the Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (Embrapii) in 2016. We are a research and innovation center dedicated to developing innovative technological solutions and we have adopted the open innovation model, which allows us to negotiate the technologies developed with private sector partners.

In 2021, Embrapa Agroenergy was officially reaccredited to develop projects with partners from the industrial sector. Our Unit operates in the areas of Chemistry and Biochemistry of Renewables - Microorganisms and Enzymes and Biomass Technology and Chemistry of Renewables.
